Business Strategy
UBS is seeking a strategist to drive the development of the company’s global strategy and support senior stakeholders in their decision-making. The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of experience in the financial sector, strong communication skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Your role
Do you have a strategic mindset that allows you to engage with senior stakeholders? Do you have strong problem-solving skills and enjoy bringing structure to complex situations, engaging with a variety of perspectives and stakeholders to find common solutions? Are you good at communicating complex business challenges in a constructive and accessible way? We are looking for someone who:- wishes to work with the respective business units to advance the development of the GWM strategy at the global, cross-border, cross-channel, and product-specific levels
- wishes to support the decision-making process of our internal business partners at the senior management level
- wants to conduct industry, competitive, and benchmark analyses
- wants to design business models and processes for specific markets and business units
- wants to coordinate and review business plans, including financial modeling
- wishes to develop implementation plans for strategic initiatives
- wants to drive M&A projects forward from a strategic perspective (rationale, financial feasibility, due diligence, etc.)
Your expertise
- 1–4 years of professional experience in the financial services sector
- strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- an entrepreneurial mindset capable of working effectively across functions in a diverse environment on multiple projects
- independent thinking (constructive challenge)
- well-developed strategic thinking
- a proven track record of success in terms of independence, vision, structure, and storytelling
- high levels of energy, enthusiasm, and discipline
