**Cash and Securities Reconciliation Specialist**

The Cash and Securities Reconciliation Specialist is responsible for reviewing and reconciling transactions with customers and correspondent banks in order to identify potential discrepancies and resolve them promptly. The specialist works closely with various departments within the bank to minimize risks.

Your role

As a Cash and Securities Reconciliation Specialist at our bank, you will be responsible for the important task of reconciling transactions with our clients and cash correspondents, including monitoring identified discrepancies. You will be part of this important team in analyzing potential discrepancies and proactively contributing to their timely resolution in order to minimize the bank's risks. The exciting, international environment involves close collaboration with various areas of the bank and a comprehensive understanding of the associated operational transactions.

Your tasks

  • Manage daily/weekly/monthly/annual reconciliation processes by identifying discrepancies and assigning them to the relevant departments.
  • Reconcile physical securities and land registry extracts through physical inventory and coordinate special reconciliations performed by different teams.
  • Investigate problems, monitor open issues, and track solutions
  • Coordinate special reconciliations carried out by different teams within the company.
  • Participate in the annual review related to the reconciliation process
  • Represent team members in the coordination team, manage shareholder notifications, and take on ad hoc tasks upon request.

Your profile

  • University degree in finance/accounting/controlling or completed apprenticeship or similar banking training
  • 2-5 years of practical experience in operations/back office or finance/controlling
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Avaloq is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and high level of accountability
  • Fluent English language skills; German is an advantage
