Cash Management Specialist

As a Cash Management Specialist at Vontobel in Zurich, you will process payment transactions, solve complex problems and communicate with clients and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to optimize processes and improve the Straight Through Processing (STP) rate.

Your role as a Cash Management Specialist

  • As an essential member of our cash management team in Zurich, you will work with a team of six experienced professionals and manage over 40 currencies in various accounts.
  • Her daily tasks include processing all payment transactions, solving complex problems and communicating with customers, stakeholders and counterparties.
  • You will have the opportunity to contribute by actively improving Straight Through Processing (STP) rates and optimizing processes through close collaboration with IT and cross-functional departments.

Tasks

  • Process a range of payment transactions, including outgoing, incoming and pending orders.
  • Assumption of responsibility for the investigation and claim management.
  • Comprehensive cooperation with internal and external customers, suppliers and service providers.
  • Settlement of FX and money market transactions.
  • Execution of repo trading on the SIX trading platform 'CO:RE'.
  • Proactive contributions to process optimization and project implementation for new products.

Requirements

  • Experience: Solid foundation in banking, ideally with a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • Skills: Familiarity with financial markets, payment services and experience with Avaloq, SWIFT and SIX platforms.
  • Mindset: A natural problem solver with a strong customer focus and a tendency to build relationships.
  • Attributes: Resilient, adaptable, quick-thinking and a true team player with experience in project management or process optimization.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and at least conversational in English.
