Your role

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Category & Sourcing Manager to join our Category & Sourcing team for Technology (Hardware).

Tasks

  • Responsibility for category delivery across all category scorecard KPIs
  • Develop and execute a category management strategy that aligns with the strategy, objectives and operating plan of Group Technology and UBS as a whole
  • Develop, structure and execute go-to-market/deal strategies for large-scale and high-volume IT hardware deals for UBS globally, with the goal of creating value and optimizing costs
  • Responsibility for category delivery across all category scorecard dimensions
  • Contribute to the development of the IT hardware category strategy by providing insights and recommendations
  • Preparing and managing complex negotiations when considering a new supplier or engagements with existing, challenging suppliers; facilitating elements of complex deals such as:
    • Rfx structure
    • Base Case
    • Business Case
    • Commercialization model
    • Solution/offer evaluation
    • Transition, transformation and termination planning
    • Deal

Requirements

  • 10+ relevant experiences as a sourcing expert in deal negotiations for large companies
  • Experience in working with large-scale companies
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented, structured and organized
  • Eager to learn, highly motivated and driven
  • Initiative and drive as well as the ability to master complex tasks
  • Collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
