Your role

We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Category & Sourcing Manager to join our Category & Sourcing team for Technology (Hardware).

The IT Hardware Category and Procurement team is responsible for the delivery of the category across all KPIs of the category scorecard. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a category management strategy that aligns with Group Technology and UBS's overall strategy, objectives and operating plan.

Tasks

• Responsibility for category delivery across all dimensions of the category scorecard
• Contribute to the development of the IT hardware category strategy by providing insights and recommendations
• Preparing and managing complex negotiations when considering a new supplier or engagements with existing, challenging suppliers; executing elements of complex deals such as:
• Rfx structure
• Base case
• Business case
• Commercialization model
• Solution/offer evaluation
• Transition, transformation and termination planning
• Deal

Your team

You will work in the IT Category Organization, a function in Group Real that is part of the supply chain within GRESC and supports UBS in its supplier management models.

Requirements

• 10+ relevant experiences as a sourcing expert
• Expert in deal negotiations for large transactions
• Experience in working with large scales
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Detail-oriented with a structured way of working
• Eager to learn, highly motivated and committed
• Initiative and drive as well as the ability to work together
• Collaboration skills and the ability to work with others
