Missions

The Risk and Permanent Control Department (RPC) is the bank's second line of defense. It independently analyzes and monitors credit risks, market risks, and operational risks.

  • Organization Credit risk and exposure control: Analyzing credit files to ensure compliance with applicable credit delegations and provide a panoramic view of Banque Privée's credit exposures in order to identify the main risks and challenges for the Risk Management Department.

Main tasks

  • Analyzing credit files and ensuring compliance with credit delegations
  • Creating tracking sheets
  • Regulating risks in advance, participating in credit committees, and defending the position of the Risk Management Department
  • Negotiating structural adjustments with credit institutions (price, off-balance sheet)
  • Regular monitoring of commitments with various specialist teams (RPC, market risk, compliance, permanent control, Group Risk Management)

Requirements

Criteria for the candidate

  • Minimum educational level: Bac +5 / M2 and above
  • Education/specialization: University level or a commercial or engineering school, BAC+4/5 level or diploma
  • Experience: Experience in financing (commercial and finance), 6-10 years of experience in credit risk, acquired in a credit risk department or within a risk management department.

Wanted skills

  • Cultural understanding of economics with a good command of financial and market terminology
  • Teamwork, initiative, and decision-making skills
  • Filling positions in one or more risks (DG, desk managers, etc.) and clear positions with an affirmative and constructive mindset
  • Excellent command of financial analysis and ability to present ideas and arguments orally and in writing
  • Ability to recognize signals in order to anticipate risk deterioration and respond to problems
  • Studies in financial analysis (score, probability, value-at-risk, etc.)
  • Extensive experience in analyzing financial data from various perspectives (sector, security, etc.)
  • Proficiency in the IT environment (Office package)
