This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers. Technology is transforming the investment landscape, and we’re adapting to it rather than reacting to change. We’re looking for experienced engineers with a genuine passion for technology to join our software development teams. You’ll work on solutions in critical areas such as order management, trade capture, risk management, fund administration, and client reporting. All roles will involve a balance of day-to-day operations and project work. Ongoing maintenance work will include maintaining the existing technology stack, providing third-line support, and assisting the business with minor enhancements and fixes, while project work will involve delivering detailed solutions using cutting-edge technologies and expanding our strategic technology platforms in line with our long-term vision.

Key responsibilities of the position

- Responsibility for the entire delivery process—from requirements gathering through development, testing, and coordinating production deployment - Participation in and responsibility for the planning, design, and delivery of long-term projects - Participation in code reviews and knowledge sharing with cross-functional colleagues - Working on delivering solutions and improvements, such as reducing technical debt, increasing release quality, and improving resource utilization - Promoting and driving the adoption of best practices and enhancing business knowledge and understanding within the team - Providing production support and responding to inquiries - Depending on seniority - Mentoring junior team members

Requirements

- Strong focus on delivery to ensure that business value is delivered - Core experience in C and .NET - High-quality coding, architecture, and performance benchmarking in MS SQL Server - Ability to balance business delivery with the incremental adoption of new architecture and platform features - Knowledge of collaborative software development techniques and methods - Excellent communication skills to ensure that our stakeholders—including those with conflicting views—
