Central Screening Unit Specialist

Job Title

• Central Screening Unit Specialist, 100% (Contract through our external payroll partner, starting immediately for 12 months, with the possibility of extension)

Tasks

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of account openings, as well as the efficient handling of inquiries, with escalation to senior colleagues as needed.
• Conducting name screenings and searches for potential customers and the existing customer base.
• Review the quality of submissions for the name screening and, if necessary, request additional information from the Front Office.
• Review and scheduling of appropriately documented processes. Immediate escalation of all actual and potential hits within the required timeframe.
• Ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory laws, compliance guidelines, and procedures when conducting quality testing.
• Collaboration with Compliance and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• A degree or diploma, along with at least 1 year of relevant experience in name screening, would be an asset.
• Proficiency in MS Office software and an affinity for technology.
