International Trade and Commodities Financing Manager

Société Générale is seeking a Chargé de financement commerce international matières premières in Paris with at least three years of experience and a master's degree. The position involves the financing and risk management of international commodity transactions, as well as providing close client support.

  • To facilitate our clients’ day-to-day transactions in an increasingly globalized world and ensure the long-term success of their businesses, we empower you. You manage companies’ international cash flows, contribute academic expertise in financing techniques for international trade transactions, and are attentive to and dedicated to serving our clients.

  • Affirmations / E-Commerce and Factoring: Asset Structuring
  • You will contribute directly to the development of new markets and to improving risk management in existing processes.
  • You will directly examine the development of a new business model and its impact on processes.
  • Your assignments will be tailored to your areas of expertise in international trade.
  • Reporting to the Energy and Raw Materials Division, you are interested in operations related to the international trade in raw materials:
  • Collection, sale, financing, and tracking of international trade transactions;
  • Establishment of guarantees and banking agreements to ensure the proper performance of sales contracts;
  • Pre- and post-sale financing of transactions,
  • Affirmations, structured finance products primarily intended for value chains in sectors such as energy and metals.

Profile recherché

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who understands the complex nature of international trade operations. This person is highly motivated by challenges and has strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Skills in portfolio management, providing recommendations, and interpreting financial and business results achieved for clients.
  • Proficiency in computer tools and modeling.
  • You are a good listener, have excellent English skills, and international experience; you are always on the lookout for new opportunities, and you are committed to the long term.
  • You have a college or business school degree.
  • Required experience: At least 3 years
  • Job Profile: 5 years of higher education
