Head of Infrastructure Data Group

Vaudoise Assurances is seeking a Head of Infrastructure Data who is an experienced leader with knowledge of Azure technologies and experience in managing teams. The role involves responsibility for data and integration infrastructure and leading a team of engineers.

Head of Infrastructure Data Group - 80-100% Lausanne, Switzerland | Hybrid | With professional experience and management role

Tasks

The tasks that await you:
  • Provide cloud infrastructure services (Azure) on-premises and/or in the cloud
  • Define, develop, and maintain the Azure environment via Terraform for the resources required by the Data division.
  • Manage DevOps pipelines across our various technologies via Azure DevOps
  • Ensure the availability and performance of messaging platforms and API managers: Kafka Cloud, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Hub, WSO2, Azure API Manager, RabbitMQ, as well as MongoDb and AKS services.
  • Actively contribute to certain deliveries
  • Discuss solutions with architects, tech leads, and Vaudoise infrastructure teams
  • Motivate and supervise a team of engineers (5-10)
  • Supporting the transition and skills development of your team in cloud technologies
  • Implement cross-technology knowledge transfers within your team to ensure redundancy for critical services.
  • Provide quality service to projects and teams in the data division
  • Act as a key partner to the Vaudoise infrastructure teams (TDSI) and solution architects
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs), measure service quality, and manage continuous improvement plans

Requirements

Votre profil :
  • Higher professional education of the HES, university, or EPFL type in computer science or general studies
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with deployment technologies on Azure (Terraform, Azure DevOps, or GitHub)
  • Experience with messaging platforms and APIs, ideally Kafka
  • You have already managed project teams and know how to unite a team around complex projects.
  • Proven ability to coach and lead Scrum teams toward increased performance and continuous process improvement, aiming for stable velocity and product quality
  • Customer focus and service orientation
  • Excellent communication, ability to unite, inspire, and support change
  • Fluent French and English (minimum level B2)
