Group manager Loss of earnings due to illness

Vaudoise is looking for a Head of the Loss of Earnings due to Illness Group (80-100%) in Lausanne to lead a team of specialized managers and handle claims files. The position involves leadership, technical consulting, and process optimization in the area of loss of earnings insurance.

Tasks

  • Provide your support and technical advice to your colleagues on cases
  • Organize and coordinate your group's work: hold team meetings, bilateral meetings, organize replacement plans, etc.
  • Actively participate in weekly departmental management meetings and work closely with the department head and other team leaders.
  • Train your employees (10 people) and ensure that management rules are properly applied.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor your team's claims processing and actively participate in improving and simplifying processing procedures.
  • Handle some of the claims in your own client portfolio independently and proactively (from 100 hours) and in close collaboration with medical advisors and our Care Managers.
  • Maintain regular contact with partners, insured persons, employers, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Federal insurance certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in the field of PGM services
  • Experienced leader, recognized for your ability to mobilize teams, create a positive working atmosphere, and promote employee development, while making effective decisions in demanding environments.
  • French as mother tongue, a very good command of Italian is an asset.
  • Proficiency with standard computer tools (MS Office)
