Group Manager, Property Underwriting / Technical Insurance [FR/DE]
Vaudoise is seeking a bilingual (French/German) group manager for Property and Technical Insurance in Lausanne to lead a nine-person team and manage strategic risks. The position requires a Swiss professional certification, three years of management experience, and in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance.
Tasks
- Lead, prioritize, and organize the work of a team of nine specialized managers
- Gager: Local approval points and targeted technical support
- Translate strategic directions into clear objectives and ensure consistency in decision-making
- Develop skills, encourage autonomy, and manage team performance
- Provide strategic expertise in the areas of risk detection, analysis, and management
- Work closely with the teams in the general division and cross-functional projects
Requirements
- Federal Insurance Certificate or a qualification deemed equivalent
- Proven experience in commercial property insurance, engineering insurance, liability insurance, or similar
- Three years of supervised mentoring during which you demonstrated your ability to build a relationship based on trust
- Thorough understanding of the processes and regulations in the insurance industry
- Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office)
- A dedicated, approachable, organized leader with a strong ability to generate ideas
