Senior IT Project Manager

Vos missions

• Deliver IT projects, proactively mitigating risks in terms of deadlines, costs, quality, and scope, and provide transparent reporting to management.
• Conduct the change management actions necessary for the success of IT projects (training, user support, possible decommissioning of applications, etc.) in order to maximize the added value of the projects for the business lines and the bank.
• Ensure a high level of quality in functional and non-functional specifications by involving experts and, on this basis, design, prepare, and manage user acceptance tests.
• Produce high-quality opportunity studies, project charters, and calls for tenders to ensure factual and effective decision-making by business and IT management.
• Challenge technical solutions and systematically check with architects that they comply with banking architecture standards.
• Help develop a coherent annual plan for the functional and technical evolution of the department’s applications, aligned with the priorities of the business strategy,
• Improve long-term IT governance by enhancing the functional documentation of applications and ensuring high-quality technical documentation within projects.

Votre profil

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a project manager in an IT department, ideally in a Swiss bank,
• Experience as a business analyst, project manager, product manager for CRM solutions,
• Languages: Proficiency in English required; German is a plus,
• Knowledge of the banking sector and the issues involved in front-line business (private individuals, companies, private banking, or asset management)
