Tasks

• As CFO, you will have overall responsibility for finance and accounting, controlling, risk management, and tax matters for the Baumann & Cie Group.
• Shaping the bank's strategic development – analytically sound, forward-looking, and practical.

• Overall responsibility for accounting, controlling, budgeting, consolidation, and reporting for the bank and its group companies.
• Further development of the bank's financial management and internal control systems, and establishment of a modern risk management system.
• Sparring partner for management and shareholders in all financial, strategic, and regulatory matters.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (individual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with RVB) and ensuring regulatory reporting to FINMA and SNB.
• Active further development and redesign of processes in the finance and reporting area – with a focus on digitization, automation, and modern technologies.
• Management and further development of an experienced finance team.

Profile

• Several years of solid professional experience in finance and accounting at a bank, insurance company, or financial institution, ideally with a group structure.
• Very good knowledge of accounting, controlling, and regulatory reporting (FINMA, SNB, RVB).
• Further training in accounting and finance (e.g., certified expert in accounting/controlling, certified public accountant, MAS in finance, or equivalent).
• Experience in taxation (direct and indirect taxes) and in the consolidation of companies.
• A strong curiosity and enthusiasm for technology, actively helping to shape and advance digital solutions.
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in developing teams and processes.
• Strategic thinker, strong implementer, and integrative personality with a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of a broad, creative role.
• Confident communication in German and English is an advantage.
