About the role
The Chief of Staff, Clients position supports the Chief Clients Officer in his day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth running of the entire global Clients Division, as well as in strategic projects to drive its further development and growth.Tasks
Operational excellence
- Monitoring the optimization of operational processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead the development and implementation of cross-functional projects, e.g. to optimize the customer relationship manager experience, improve tool-based support for relationship managers, etc.
- Work with 1st and 2nd line of defense to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and relevant industry standards.
Commercial success
- Work with the Chief Clients Officer to identify and exploit new market opportunities within the strategic mandate.
- Lead key client projects and initiatives from conception to completion to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Executive support
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Chief Clients Officer, providing support in decision making, problem solving and prioritizing initiatives.
- Track and report performance of key initiatives and projects, provide regular updates to the Chief Clients Officer and the Group Executive Board.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (including MBA) from a reputable university in a business or technical subject.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a top tier strategy consulting firm, investment banking or finance with a focus on sales or client management.
- Ability to break down problems into logical components, carry out structured qualitative and quantitative analyses and present results in an understandable form.
- Can-do attitude that adapts to uncertainty and a changing environment with frequent new tasks.
- Enthusiasm for digital assets. Digital assets are Sygnum's daily business and we expect you to have an affinity for this topic and share our vision for Future Finance.
- Strong understanding of front office tools (e.g. CRM) and processes.
- Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to develop new ideas and solutions.
