Role Description
- This is a key role that will be pivotal within the CIO's Chief Control Office at Nomura.
- The successful candidate plays a critical role in strengthening our governance, reporting, risk analytics, and compliance pillars.
- The person in this role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with the required documentation.
- This position serves as the primary owner and subject matter expert for Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
- We are looking for a candidate who is seeking a challenging role and has a good understanding of risk management frameworks in the financial services industry.
- We need someone who can take a flexible, pragmatic approach to shaping the strategic direction in a regulated environment.
- The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the Chief Control Officer function, serving as a subject matter expert and leveraging strong influencing and problem-solving skills to foster collaboration between Three Lines of Defense stakeholders and key business stakeholders.

- Design, develop, and maintain the Risk Management Policy, which includes the RCSA processes.
- Has experience working in a regulated environment.
- Has experience managing stakeholders across the Three Lines of Defense globally.
- Has good communication skills and pays close attention to detail.
