The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Citrix NetScaler Engineer who will serve as the IT Service Owner responsible for the remote access infrastructure and has experience with Citrix NetScaler, networking technologies, and scripting. The ideal candidate should possess excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Job description
As a Citrix NetScaler Engineer, you will serve as the IT service owner for the remote access infrastructure and ensure a high level of service. Your responsibilities will include:- Participation in disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Project work and project support
- 3. Level and 24/7 on-call service
Your requirements
For this position, we are looking for a person with:- A strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
- In-depth knowledge of load balancing techniques, content switching, and application delivery controllers
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, including the ability to analyze log files, identify issues, and resolve complex problems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated individual
- Higher education in computer science, preferably with versions 12.x or later
- Proven experience with Citrix NetScaler, preferably with versions 12.x or later
- Basic scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and experience with automation tools
- Relevant certifications, such as Citrix Certified Professional – Networking (CCP-N) or Citrix Certified Expert – Networking (CCE-N)
- Knowledge of other technologies such as Zscaler ZIA & ZPA, 2FA/MFA, PKI, and Mailgetway is an advantage.
- Fluent English and desired German
