As a Citrix System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing Citrix environments and automating the provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix components. Your task will be to increase operational efficiency, ensure system reliability, and support the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) through scripting and integration.
Job description
Tasks
- Support and optimization of Citrix environments (Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Studio, Director)
- Automation of provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of Citrix components and user sessions
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate automation into existing workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix performance, user access and script execution
- Documentation of scripts, automation workflows and operational procedures
- Participation in system upgrades, patching and performance tuning activities
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards in all scripting and automation efforts
Requirements
- Independent, efficient, proactive and careful way of working
- High level of quality assurance, operational resilience, IT security and risk management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
- Analytical thinking and good knowledge of methods and new ways of working (Agile, DevOps & Continuous Integration etc.)
