Client Advisor - Swiss Onshore Market

Job Description

This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and diverse team within J.P. Morgan’s Swiss Private Bank. We are looking for exceptionally talented individuals who are collaborative, confident, and motivated to provide our clients with a first-class experience.

Tasks

As a Client Advisor at J.P. Morgan in Zurich, you would lead client acquisition and retention efforts by leveraging your comprehensive knowledge of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning. You would also be responsible for the client experience and utilize our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution. Your responsibilities include:
  • Generate results and acquire new assets
  • Advise clients on their overall financial situation, including asset allocation, investment management, financial planning, and credit and banking needs
  • Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when necessary
  • Ensure that proposed solutions meet clients’ needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term through a comprehensive, goal-oriented planning approach
  • Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.
  • Collaborate with other client advisors on the team to maximize the team’s strength and achieve its goals

Requirements

The required qualifications, skills, and qualities are:
  • Extensive experience in private banking, working with high-net-worth individuals in Zurich and the surrounding regions
  • Previous experience in business development, with knowledge of profitability, negotiation, and proactively seeking recommendations
  • Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and possesses exceptional presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and a disciplined approach to business management
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, and fiduciary concepts, including but not limited to: asset allocation across structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and credit solutions, basic fiduciary and estate planning products, and the provision of wealth planning options
  • Strong reputation with an established network
  • Fluent English and German

Preferred qualifications

The preferred qualifications, skills, and qualities are:
  • Asset allocation / Experience with multi-asset class portfolios or sales experience is advantageous
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus

  • Fluent French and/or Italian
