Client Documentation Specialist

The position of Client Documentation Specialist at Leonteq in Dubai involves handling client onboarding and KYC procedures, advising on compliance issues and documenting client relationships. The focus is on ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of Legal & Compliance.

Tasks

  • Handling client onboarding and KYC due diligence procedures, including related AML tasks; e.g. AML clarifications and assessments with regard to PEPs and/or other higher risk factors
  • Advice on customer onboarding/KYC/related AML issues
  • Preparation of internal client notes/assessments on onboarding/KYC/related AML topics
  • Planning and responsibility for specific customer reviews in the context of the above regulations
  • Participation in various customer projects, e.g. evaluations of new business models, implementation of new software tools
  • Documentation and lifecycle management of relationships, including the maintenance of customer data
  • Support during audit fieldwork (preparation of files for auditors, discussion of questions and results with auditors, etc.)

Requirements

  • Degree in law, compliance, finance, business administration or a related field
  • Preferably 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry in a similar compliance, audit or advisory role
  • Dedicated personality with a strong team player attitude and willingness to take on responsibility
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently and under pressure, manage own goals and set priorities
  • Fluent in English.
  • Good MS Office skills
