Client Engagement Partner – Vice President (Aladdin Client Business)

As Vice President on the Client Engagement team at BlackRock in Paris, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with leading institutional investors and asset managers in Europe. Job Description

As Vice President on P repin’s Client Engagement team, you will help grow our most strategic client relationships in Europe, the region, Luxembourg, and French-speaking Switzerland. This client-focused role centers on building trusting partnerships with leading institutional investors and asset managers across Europe.

Tasks

The most important tasks include:
  • Ownership of strategic relationships at P Repin, including engagement, customer satisfaction, retention, and growth
  • Establishing governance with senior stakeholders and executives
  • Developing a deep understanding of clients' strategic goals and the applicability of P repin in their investment processes and analyses
  • Defining the commercial and engagement strategy for customer accounts
  • Responsibility for managing the renewal process
  • Identifying upselling opportunities and partnering with Business Development to achieve high-impact goals
  • Preventing customer churn by gaining a deep understanding of customer preferences and needs
  • Collaborate with Marketing to influence and ensure effective campaigns that strengthen customer loyalty
  • Collaborate with product, data, engineering, and other teams by sharing customer feedback, issues, and trends to shape our roadmap and priorities
  • Partnership and coordination with Aladdin and BlackRock teams regarding shared clients and commercial opportunities

Requirements

The most important requirements include:
  • Native English proficiency and professional English skills are required; additional European language skills are a plus
  • 5+ years of sales experience in a sales and/or account management role in the financial services sector, alternative investments, or B2B SaaS sales
  • Demonstration of success and achievement of quotas and sales targets; negotiation skills related to upselling and cross-selling
  • Knowledge of financial market data, alternative assets, and the financial services industry
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, combined with a knack for intuitive problem-solving and sales techniques
  • A responsible, motivated, conscientious, and results-oriented work ethic; strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and monitor priorities to meet deadlines
  • A desire to be a phenomenal team member who can quickly integrate and build relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as IT skills
