Client Engagement Specialist, CIO, Full-Time (f/m/d)
The Client Engagement Specialist at Julius Baer is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and engagement initiatives to translate investment strategy and insights into client-relevant communications. The role supports sales efforts, campaigns, and product initiatives through consistent and effective communication.
Your challenge
The CIO Office Client Engagement function is responsible for bringing the CIO Office’s investment capabilities and value proposition to life through high-quality, client-focused materials, formats, and experiences. The role plays a key part in supporting sales efforts, campaigns, and product initiatives, as well as promoting discretionary solutions through consistent and effective communication. Your responsibilities include:- The design and implementation of CIO-aligned marketing and engagement initiatives to translate investment strategies and insights into client-relevant communications that support sales and promote discretionary solutions
- Creating and delivering engaging content formats (e.g., newsletters, presentations, videos, webcasts, podcasts, events, digital content) to enhance client-focused discussions and sales conversations
- The creation, maintenance, and updating of high-quality, client-focused materials and formats to actively promote discretionary solutions and investment insights
- Conducting marketing campaigns and product launches to ensure effective positioning and adoption of discretionary offerings
- Monitoring engagement, gathering feedback, and tracking usage metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and commercial impact
- Contributing to the implementation of new tools and formats, including digital solutions and artificial intelligence, to improve efficiency and scalability
- Coordinating content distribution across multiple channels (intranet, CRM, web, etc.) to maximize reach
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with:- A college degree in marketing, business administration, finance, or an equivalent field
- A strong understanding of investment products and financial markets
- 2–5 years of experience creating product marketing and client-focused content at a bank, an asset management firm, or a related financial services provider
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex investment concepts into clear, engaging, and client-friendly messages
- Proven experience in content creation and multichannel communication
- A results-oriented mindset focused on measurable impact
- A team player with a proven ability to collaborate in a cross-functional environment
- A proactive, creative, and motivated individual with a can-do attitude
- Excellent written and spoken English and German skills, with a collaborative, solution-oriented work style
- A willingness to drive innovation and improve processes, including the effective use of technology, data, and AI to enhance quality, consistency, and speed
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus
