CLIENT ONBOARDING & DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST
Leonteq AG is seeking a Client Onboarding & Documentation Specialist for its offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Dubai, who will be responsible for managing client onboarding and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in the financial industry and knowledge of local financial market laws and regulations.

CLIENT ONBOARDING & DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST (SINGAPORE, HONG KONG, OR DUBAI)About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Client Onboarding & Documentation Specialist in Asia or Dubai. This role is at the heart of the company and involves working closely with Sales, Structuring, Operations, and Compliance to ensure a seamless client experience.Tasks
- Handling client onboarding processes – communicating with clients regarding relevant Know Your Client documentation, and adhering to internal client acceptance due diligence policies and procedures, including related AML/KYC tasks
- Ensuring that all relevant onboarding documentation complies with the applicable KYC and AML/CFT requirements prescribed by the relevant authorities, such as the MAS, SFC, and DFS
- Providing advice on client-related AML/CFT issues
- Preparation of internal client notes/assessments regarding onboarding, KYC, and AML/CFT matters
- Planning and oversight of specific client reviews in accordance with the aforementioned regulations
- Collaboration on client projects, such as evaluating new business models and implementing new software tools
- Documentation and lifecycle management of relationships, including the maintenance of client data
- Support during the audit process (preparing files for auditors, discussing inquiries and findings with auditors, etc.)
Requirements
- Preferably 3–5 years of experience in the financial industry in a similar compliance, audit, or consulting role
- Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing the financial markets in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, or equivalent jurisdictions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A dedicated individual with a strong team-oriented mindset and a willingness to take on responsibility
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently and under pressure, as well as to manage one's own goals and set priorities
- Degree in law, compliance, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Ability to read and write fluently in English and Chinese, due to language requirements in client documents
