Client Onboarding Officer

Your role

As a Client Onboarding Officer, you are responsible for reviewing and processing client documents and data to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the data throughout the entire client lifecycle at the bank and to provide outstanding service to all units of the bank.

Your tasks

• Review and process all account openings to ensure smooth operations for customers
• Support and close collaboration with our Client Relationship Managers to enable them to grow their business
• Acting as a liaison between the bank's various stakeholder groups, including Front Office, Legal, Compliance, and IT, to ensure that their interests are aligned
• Supporting the bank in transitioning from manual and paper-based customer files to a digital onboarding process
• Management of physical and electronic static data throughout a customer's entire lifecycle
• Verification of customers' signatures on documents and instructions
• Develop a deep understanding of the bank's processes, products, and services

Your profile

• At least 2 years of practical experience in the Swiss financial market, including experience reviewing account openings from the CDB's perspective
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements such as AML, FATCA/QI, and CRS
• Proficiency in IT; experience with Avaloq is a plus
• Ability to weigh problems and set priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a hands-on approach
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German would be an asset
