CLIENT ONBOARDING & SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST (BASED IN SINGAPORE OR HONG KONG)What you will do
- Independent coordination of the entire client lifecycle, including onboarding, due diligence (KYC/AML), account setup, trading support, and ongoing client management
- Primary point of contact for internal stakeholders in Sales, Structuring, Middle Office, Back Office, and Compliance to ensure the smooth and timely execution of client activities
- Client onboarding through direct communication with clients to collect, review, and validate the necessary documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Conducting due diligence reviews, including AML/CFT screening, PEP and adverse media assessments, and client risk classification, to ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., MAS, SFC, DFMSA)
- Maintaining accurate client records and documentation throughout the entire lifecycle, including periodic reviews and updates
- Support for transaction control and product classes, structured product processes, and post-trade activities to ensure that all operational steps are completed accurately and efficiently
- Monitoring and resolving issues throughout the entire trading cycle, proactively troubleshooting, and coordinating with relevant teams to minimize delays or risks
- Supporting sales teams in their daily work by managing inquiries, preparing client materials (presentations, reports, analyses), and promptly following up on client-related matters
- Handling of operational processes such as the processing of sales commissions and related system updates
- Ensuring data integrity across systems by maintaining and updating client and transaction information to support both operational accuracy and reporting needs
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, improving workflows, and supporting the implementation of new tools, systems, or regulatory requirements
- Supporting internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring the transparency and accuracy of client records
What you need
- 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding (KYC/AML), sales support, operations, or related roles in the financial services sector
- Solid understanding of KYC, AML/CTF requirements, and client onboarding processes
- Knowledge of structured products and/or derivatives is a plus
- Familiarity with the regulatory frameworks in Singapore, Hong Kong, or similar jurisdictions
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, law, compliance, or a related field
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
