Client Relations Associate (Italian Speaker) - 12m

Mar Group in London is seeking an Italian-speaking Client Relations Associate for a 12-month fixed-term position to support the global client team and, in particular, the Italian sales team. The position requires analytical skills, knowledge of asset management, and experience managing client relationships, as well as performing administrative tasks.

Tasks

  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for daily customer inquiries
  • Provide overall support to clients and thoroughly prepare for ad hoc requests related to various client meetings, including managing emails from non-clients, social media, Teams, and other emails
  • Support the Italian team, which is responsible for 30+ client relationships, with in-depth knowledge of the clients, the office’s investment universe (advisors), and the team
  • Maintain the customer relationship portfolio by providing support and guidance for various internal (marketing) events, such as real estate/affiliate partner meetings to support the strategic internal team, as well as NGO coordination activities with external sponsors, as needed
  • Coordination of customer onboarding, administrative, and support processes
  • Performing administrative tasks (providing advice on administrative matters and reporting on the processing of customer information in connection with implementation, trading, and execution, as well as administrative processes on the customer’s side)

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the Italian language
  • Excellent understanding of active alternative asset classes, including technology, financial instruments, and interest-rate instruments (ranging from the products and structure of asset classes and investor funds to client relationships, strategic financing, and credit structures)
  • A bachelor's degree with 2–3 years of experience in client relations, client sales, and investment advising, along with a solid understanding of all aspects of wealth management, asset management, or hedge funds
  • Knowledge of AMR/CRM and Excel-based tools is required
  • A sense of comfort in a high-pressure environment that requires excellent organization and close collaboration
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with customers, prospects, and all stakeholders
  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel); familiarity with these applications is a plus
