Client Relations Associate
The Client Relations Associate at Med Group is responsible for maintaining client relationships, preparing reports, and conducting market analyses in the field of alternative investments. The salary ranges from 64,000 to 84,000 euros per year.
Tasks
- Serve as a dedicated point of contact for each of our 24 or more client accounts
- Maintain stakeholder engagement to achieve objectives and proactively lead the promotion and coordination of all other requests and needs
- Understand our customers' needs and be a trusted advocate for our customer base
- Strengthen the company's foundation by providing the following services:
- Customer needs that are met
- Customer needs that are not being met
- Customer needs that are met
- Manage customer relationships and provide high-quality reports and customer-specific information to a group of 10 relationship managers
- Conduct market intelligence to assess customer market needs, including relevant factors (e.g., market size) and insights into customer trends and positioning
- Manage and maintain data collection and report on market data
- Support and coordinate participation, final reporting, and non-financial reporting for clients
- Use internal data; compile financial and non-financial data on portfolio holdings
- Prepare and coordinate documents (particularly for the data room) and support the deal team
- Draft, organize, and manage internal documents in accordance with Client Services’ compliance, governance, and audit oversight requirements
- Conduct regulatory, legal, corporate, and compliance-related research on key industry trends
- Develop and implement internal communication and reporting, and ensure the ongoing maintenance of deal agreements
- Develop presentation materials for clients (sales pitches), sales decks, and other supporting materials
- Coordinate transactional activities, research, due diligence, and other sales-related activities as needed
- Interact with or manage third-party consultants as needed to ensure high-quality work and on-time delivery
Requirements
- Interest in our data analysis and business practices, including the ability to easily interpret analytical and software programs and to work with our clients in their best interests. For example, datasets, models, and results shared with the client
- A work style that balances research and administrative tasks with managing customer relationships and addressing customer needs in day-to-day business, while adhering to a desired sales approach
- A thorough understanding of how transactions work, combined with a high level of customer service
- Ability to generate income
- Ability to provide a high standard of customer service in all interactions with customers
- Flexible, cooperative, and detail-oriented
- A self-starter who can plan strategically and regularly coordinate or attend client meetings
- Knowledge of key data sources, including CRIS, Preqin, PitchBook, and internal tools (e.g., data warehouse)
- Knowledge of financial services, asset and data management, and (banking/credit financing), with a strong interest in customer service
- Experience in the fintech sector is a plus (e.g., fintech, digital assets, online banking, and related technologies)
- Experience in investment management (in particular) and an understanding of market risks and investment management firms
