Client Relationship Officer (CRO)
EFG Bank is seeking an experienced financial services professional to serve as a Client Relationship Officer (CRO), managing HNW clients and making sound investment decisions. The ideal candidate has at least 5–7 years of experience in private banking and a solid educational background in business administration, finance, or a related field.
Tasks
- Prospecting for strategic high-net-worth clients for EFG Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd and its custodians within the respective region.
- Management of client relationships with a focus on investment advice/execution and discretionary services.
- Execution of securities trading orders and assessment of suitability.
- Ensuring a service level of at least 100%.
- Ensuring sufficient funding to cover transactions in customer accounts.
- Analysis of portfolio positions, investment maturities, dividend payments, interest income, and processing of corporate actions.
- Maintaining the integrity of recorded credit transactions, ensuring appropriate credit ratings, covering overdrafts, etc.
- Continuously monitor customer accounts and related investment and transaction activities to ensure compliance with the department’s compliance requirements and general policies.
- Communicate with teams to address facility needs, identify complaints, and, if necessary, forward them to management.
- In-person meetings with customers (travel to the assigned region).
- Tracking the investment performance of client portfolios.
- Preparing forecasts for new business and tracking the progress of current business activities.
Requirements
- Management of a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients with total assets exceeding $25 million.
- Degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
- Registration with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, Canadian registration, or similar registration is required.
- A solid understanding of investment products, the fundamentals of financial markets, account management, and administrative expertise.
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in private banking, brokerage, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to compliance.
