Client Relationship Officer (CRO)
EFG Bank is seeking a motivated financial services professional to serve as a Client Relationship Officer (CRO) and provide support to high-net-worth clients. Your responsibilities will include:- Prospecting for strategic high-net-worth clients for EFG Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd and its custody centers in your respective region.
- Customer relationship management with a focus on investment advice and investment and cash management services.
- Processing of securities trading orders and assessment of suitability.
- Ensure that the scorecard is at 100%.
- Ensuring sufficient funding to cover customer account transactions.
- Analysis of portfolio positions, investment maturities, dividend payments, coupon receipts, and processing of corporate actions.
- Maintaining the integrity of recorded customer transactions, ensuring proper creditworthiness, and covering overdrafts.
- Continuously review client accounts and related investment transaction activities to ensure that they comply with the department’s compliance requirements and the division’s general policies.
- Interact with customers to address their investment needs, identify complaints, and escalate them to management when necessary.
- Face-to-face meetings with customers in your region.
- Tracking the investment performance of client portfolios.
- Preparing forecasts for new business and tracking the progress of the current sales pipeline.
What you'll need
You will need:- An asset management mandate for HNW and UHNW clients with total assets exceeding $25 million.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred).
- Registration with the Securities Commission of the Bahamas, Canadian registration, or similar registration is required.
- A solid understanding of investment products, financial market fundamentals, and account management and administration.
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in private banking, brokerage, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to compliance.
