Client Relationship Officer (CRO)
EFG Bank is seeking an experienced financial services professional to serve as a Client Relationship Officer (CRO) and manage high-net-worth (HNW) clients. You will be responsible for the following tasks:- Acquiring strategic high-net-worth clients for EFG Bank & Trust (Bahamas) Ltd and its custodians in their respective assigned regions
- Management of client relationships with a focus on investment advice/execution and discretionary services
- Execution of securities trading orders and assessment of suitability
- Ensuring a 100% service level
- Ensuring sufficient funding to cover transaction activity on customer accounts
- Analysis of portfolio positions, investment maturities, dividend payments, interest income, and processing of corporate actions
- Maintaining the integrity of posted credit transactions, ensuring an accurate credit balance, and covering overdraft amounts
- Ongoing review of customer accounts and related investment activities to ensure compliance with the department’s requirements and the division’s general guidelines
- Communicating with customers to address their investment needs, identify complaints, and, if necessary, forward them to management
- In-person meetings with customers (travel to the assigned region)
- Tracking the Investment Performance of Client Portfolios
- Preparing forecasts for new business and tracking the progress of current business
What you need
You will need:- Management of a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients with total assets of over 25 million USD
- Degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Registration with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, Canadian registration, or similar registration is required
- Solid understanding of investment products, financial markets, account management, and administration/operations
- At least 5–7 years of professional experience in private banking, brokerage, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to compliance
