Client Relationship Officer
The Client Relationship Officer is responsible for servicing clients in the Private Banking division and is expected to build and maintain relationships with clients while managing risk and compliance requirements. The focus is on providing banking and investment services and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Risk management and compliance:
- Compliance with laws and regulations, internal risk and compliance guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Completion of all required risk and compliance training, including e-learning, within the specified timeframe.
- Proactive identification of risks and concerns, including escalation to all relevant stakeholders.
- Timely mitigation of risks and resolution of issues, including working with all relevant functional areas and establishing effective controls.
- Introduction of the bank and its banking services to potential customers.
- Supporting the expected business performance set by the management.
- Marketing and providing private banking services to clients, including but not limited to:
- Banking services
- Investment services
- Asset planning and management
- Fiduciary services
- Conduct KYC/AML due diligence on clients in line with the Bank's general policies during the account opening process and regular review from time to time.
- Reviewing the Investment Risk Profile Questionnaire with clients at the time of account opening and periodic reviews to ensure the suitability of investment products, risk tolerance and investment experience of clients from time to time.
- Communicate and coordinate with the bank's investment departments, e.g. Treasury Department, EFG Asset Management, Global Product Unit, to provide product information and market commentary to clients.
- Closely monitor client portfolios and contact activity to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Monitoring of client positions to ensure that the client recognizes any losses in excess of 20% of the portfolio or USD 500,000, sufficiency of collateral at all times and prompt settlement of excesses, if any.
- Preparation and maintenance of proper records, including but not limited to:
- Account documentation
- CIP
- Credit applications
- Relevant documents
- Trading transactions and call reports
- Responsible and effective management of business expenses.
Requirements
- Licenses: Type 1 and Type 4.
- Certificate - CPWP.
- University degree or equivalent.
