CLIENT RELATIONSHIP OFFICER

The following responsibilities are part of this role:- Proactively develop and maintain client relationships with private banks, asset managers, and multi-family offices, and assist with onboarding processes.
- Origination, structuring, and distribution of customized structured products across various asset classes, including equities, interest rates, foreign exchange, credit, and hybrids.
- Full responsibility for the sales process, from origination to pricing, trade execution, and trade booking for various derivative products, in coordination with Structuring & Trading.
- Leading client meetings, product presentations, roadshows, and investment seminars to promote structured solutions.
- Collaborate with structuring, trading, legal, and compliance teams to structure customized investment ideas or replicate new or complex payoff structures and ensure smooth execution.
- Monitoring client portfolios and market conditions to identify new cross-selling and hedging opportunities.
- Stay up to date on global market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape to inform client strategies.
- Mentoring and leading junior sales staff and support employees to improve team performance and product knowledge.
Requirements
The following requirements are necessary:- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 8–12 years of relevant experience in the sale of structured products at a global investment bank or a leading private bank.
- A proven customer base and track record of revenue.
- Excellent presentation skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- In-depth product knowledge: A comprehensive understanding of structured products and derivatives across multiple asset classes (autocallables, credit-linked notes, barrier options, quanto structures, hybrids, etc.), with a solid grasp of derivative Greeks and payoff dynamics.
- Risk and pricing tools: Experience with pricing and risk platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Numerix, internal pricing models).
- Strategic Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build long-term trust with customers and internal stakeholders, along with the ability to influence customer investment decisions and negotiate terms both internally and externally.
- Language requirements: Fluency in English is required. Mandarin or another Asian language is a strong advantage, given our customer base.
