Client Service Officer - EAM Geneva
The position of Client Service Officer at the Syz Group in Geneva requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience as an assistant who is focused on meeting client needs and delivering high-quality service and operational excellence. Responsibilities include assisting the Relationship Manager, handling client inquiries, and executing transactions.
Your tasks
- Assist the Relationship Manager in day-to-day operations, including client support and handling administrative and operational inquiries
- Maintain daily telephone contact with customers and ensure that issues are always addressed promptly to guarantee high-quality service and operational excellence
- Accurately and promptly execute client instructions, process payments and transfer transactions (orders, trades, etc.), ensure that callbacks are performed systematically, and provide support for other types of transactions
- Processing account openings for new clients—including personal accounts, businesses, operating companies, and complex structures such as trusts (both simple and complex) and foundations—in collaboration with the Relationship Manager, as well as making changes to accounts for existing clients
- Coordinating with attorneys, notaries, executives, trustees, and other intermediaries: analyzing and preparing loan applications; assisting with the drafting of loan agreements, legal titles, signatures, and documents
- Preparing reports at the request of clients, supervisors, compliance officers, or other authorized individuals
- Management of trust deposits and loan placements and renewals; execution of investment orders (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity); cash and foreign exchange transactions, etc.
- Support for all periodic reviews (PEP, low- and high-risk reviews)
- Ensuring strict oversight of documentation, maintaining and updating customer records
Your profile
- Education: Education in banking and/or finance
- Professional Experience: 3+ years of experience as an assistant, including solid knowledge of compliance matters (account opening, KYC, periodic reviews) and investment products; has had direct client exposure and demonstrated commercial acumen by supporting the Relationship Manager in business development, events, and client portfolio management
