Client Service Officer – EAM Geneva
The position of Client Service Officer at the Syz Group in Geneva requires an experienced professional with at least six years of work experience who will support two Relationship Managers and deliver high-quality service and operational excellence. Job description
As Client Service Officer – EAM Geneva, you will support two Relationship Managers and become their trusted Client Service Officer. Your responsibilities will include:- Supporting relationship managers in their daily work by assisting with client management and handling administrative and operational inquiries.
- Daily telephone contact with customers to ensure prompt action is always taken and high quality of service and operational excellence is guaranteed.
- Accurate and timely execution of customer instructions, processing of payment and transfer transactions (orders, trades, etc.) to ensure that callbacks are systematically carried out and support is provided for other types of transactions.
- Processing new client accounts—including personal accounts, corporate accounts, operating companies, and complex structures such as trust assets (both simple and complex) and funds—in collaboration with the Relationship Manager, as well as making changes to existing client accounts.
- Attendance at banking events.
- Coordination with lawyers, notaries, managing directors, trustees, and other intermediaries.
- Analysis and preparation of loan applications, assistance with the drafting of loan agreements, issuance of loans, guarantees, and letters of credit.
- Preparation of reports at the request of customers, supervisors, compliance officers, or other authorized persons.
- Management of trust deposits and loans, execution of investment orders (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity), cash and foreign exchange transactions, etc.
- Support for all periodic reviews (PEP, low- and high-risk reviews).
- Ensure strict oversight of the documentation, maintenance, and updating of client instructions, client data, and client preferences to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (AML, FINMA, FATCA, etc.).
- Build close relationships with key internal partners (Central Registry, middle-office teams, risk and control functions, etc.) and ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- 6+ years of professional experience as an assistant, including solid knowledge of compliance matters (account opening, KYC, periodic reviews) and investment products, already exposed to clients and demonstrated a commercial mindset by supporting the relationship manager in business research, events, and client book development.
- Knowledge of EAM management in the Middle East.
