Client Service Officer – EAM Geneva

The position as Client Service Officer at Syz Group in Geneva offers the opportunity to support two Relationship Managers and work as a trusted Client Service Officer. Responsibilities include assisting with daily tasks, communicating with clients, executing transactions, participating in banking events, and coordinating with external partners.

Tasks

Your responsibilities include:
  • Supporting two relationship managers as a trusted client service officer
  • Assisting with the daily work of relationship managers, including administrative and operational requests
  • Daily telephone contact with customers to ensure prompt action and high quality of service and operational excellence
  • Accurate and timely execution of customer instructions, processing of payment and transfer transactions (orders, trades, etc.)
  • Opening accounts for new clients, including private accounts, companies, operating companies, and complex structures such as trusts and foundations
  • Participation in banking events
  • Coordination with lawyers, notaries, managing directors, trustees, and other intermediaries
  • Analysis and preparation of loan applications, assistance in drawing up loan agreements, issuance of loans, guarantees, and letters of credit
  • Preparation of reports at the request of customers, supervisors, compliance officers, or other authorized persons
  • Support with all periodic reviews (PER, low and high risk reviews)
  • Ensuring strict monitoring of the documentation, maintenance, and updating of customer instructions, customer data, and preferences, in compliance with internal and external regulations (AML, FINMA, FATCA, etc.)

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • Training in banking and/or finance
  • 8+ years of experience as an assistant, including solid knowledge of compliance matters (account opening, KYC, periodic reviews) and investment products, ideally with experience in customer service and a commercial mindset
  • Knowledge of EAM management in the Middle East
