Client Service Officer – EAM Geneva
The position of Client Service Officer at Syz Group in Geneva requires an experienced individual with at least 8 years of professional experience who will support two Relationship Managers and provide high-quality customer service and operational support. The position combines administrative and operational tasks with a strong customer focus and requires an autonomous, proactive, and communicative personality.
Tasks
Your responsibilities include:- Supporting two relationship managers as a trusted client service officer
- Assistance with day-to-day tasks, including supporting customers and handling administrative and operational inquiries
- Daily phone contact with customers to ensure prompt action is always taken and to guarantee high-quality service and operational excellence
- Accurate and timely execution of customer instructions, processing of payment and transfer transactions (orders, trades, etc.)
- Opening accounts for new clients, making changes to existing accounts, and coordinating with attorneys, notaries, company executives, trustees, and other intermediaries
- Participation in bank events and coordination with internal partners
- Analysis and preparation of loan applications, assistance in drafting loan agreements, and issuance of loans, guarantees, and letters of credit
- Preparing reports at the request of clients, supervisors, compliance officers, or other authorized individuals
- Monitoring documentation, maintaining and updating customer instructions, details, and preferences to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (AML, FINMA, FATCA, etc.)
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Training in banking and/or finance
- 8+ years of experience as an assistant, including solid knowledge of compliance matters (account opening, KYC, periodic reviews) and investment products, ideally with experience in customer service and a commercial mindset
- Knowledge of EAM management in the Middle East
