Client Service Officer
A Client Service Officer is responsible for servicing private clients in the Private Banking division, presenting banking services and assisting in the achievement of business objectives. The focus is on client service, regulatory compliance and the implementation of financial transactions.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Introduces the bank and its banking services to potential customers.
- Supports the CRO in achieving business objectives such as NNA/sales targets.
- brand and offers comprehensive private banking services to meet different wealth management needs.
- Conducts KYC/AML due diligence checks on clients to ensure compliance with the Bank's general directive and regular periodic reviews.
- Reviews the Investment Risk Profile Questionnaire with clients when an account is opened and at regular periodic reviews to ensure and update the suitability of investment products, the client's risk tolerance and investment experience.
- Communicates and coordinates with the Bank's investment units to provide product information and market commentary to clients.
- Closely monitors client portfolios and contact activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Monitors clients' positions to ensure that collateral is sufficient at all times and arranges for the settlement of excesses where necessary.
- Prepares and maintains proper records including account documentation, CIP, IRPQ, credit application and relevant documents, trade transactions and call reports, etc.
- Accepts, confirms and executes investment orders from clients, including money market, securities, mutual funds and FX transactions.
- Communicates with customers on the status of their orders and, where appropriate, goes through the sales process, suitability testing, key commercial factors and key risk factors of specific products with customers.
- Communicates and coordinates with the credit department to ensure that all customer credit applications are properly processed.
- Attends internal and external training and meetings to ensure compliance with requirements (such as CPT requirements, AML training, fraud training and compliance certification, etc.).
Qualification requirements
- University degree.
- Preferably 2-3 years experience in private banking, especially in FX.
Preferred skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word.
- Team player with a good attitude.
