Client Service Specialist - Geneva

The role of Client Service Specialist at JPMorgan Chase in Geneva involves providing support to private clients and handling transactions and inquiries. Tasks

A Private Banking Client Service Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for all service-related needs of a private banking client. A CSS collaborates with bankers, investors, various product specialists, and mid-office and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated experience for our clients across all private banking products. Some examples of a CSS’s daily responsibilities include:
  • Processing cash transactions, monitoring overdraft amounts and cash balances, executing foreign exchange transactions, determining loans and deposits, managing corporate actions, performing account maintenance (opening and closing accounts, updating addresses)

Requirements

A CSS is expected to contribute to the group’s overall success in proportion to their experience. Each CSS is evaluated relative to their peer group. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing high-quality services to private banking clients
  • Maintaining client confidentiality at all times
  • Manage daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within the specified timeframes, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures
  • Researching, tracking, and resolving client inquiries and issues through effective communication with clients, bankers, investors, product specialists, operations teams, and other staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Investigate potential (or actual) cases of fraud, errors, and losses to ensure a prompt and accurate resolution for the client
  • Identifying cross-selling opportunities and escalating them to bankers and product partners to assist or advise the client
  • Review and maintenance of data quality with regard to internal and external client hierarchies and account alignment
  • Participation in special projects assigned by the team manager
  • Coordinating and tracking client inquiries regarding products and services

Required qualifications, skills, and knowledge

  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and to utilize all available tools and resources to serve clients as efficiently as possible
  • A solid understanding of deposits, banking operations, brokerage, custody, asset management, investment funds, and credit products as they apply to the region’s specific business segment
  • Understanding and compliance with the regulations, guidelines, and procedures applicable to these products and services, as well as an understanding of the potential financial liabilities associated with transactions involving these products and services if they are not executed properly
  • Effective communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills, as well as client relationship skills
  • A degree in economics or equivalent financial qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role within
