Client Service Specialist - Geneva
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Client Service Specialist in Geneva to serve as the primary point of contact for all service-related inquiries from private banking clients and to provide high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship management skills, a solid understanding of financial products and services, and excellent communication and time management skills.
Job Description
A Private Banking Client Service Specialist is the primary point of contact for all service-related needs of a private banking client. A CSS works with bankers, investors, various product specialists, and mid-office and operations teams to provide a seamless and integrated experience for our clients across all private banking products. Each CSS is regionally assigned to bankers and their client base. Some examples of a CSS’s daily tasks include: - Executing cash transactions - Monitoring overdrafts and cash balances - Executing foreign exchange transactions - Setting up funds and deposits - Managing corporate actions - Performing account maintenance (account opening and closing, address changes) A CSS is expected to contribute to the Group’s overall success in proportion to their experience, and each CSS is evaluated in comparison to their peer group.Tasks
- Provide high-quality service to private banking clients - Maintain client confidentiality at all times - Process daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within the specified timeframes, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures. A CSS’s transaction approval levels/restrictions vary depending on seniority - Handle client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally through effective interaction with the client, bankers, investors, product specialists, operations departments, and other staff - Investigate potential (or actual) cases of fraud, errors, and losses to ensure a prompt and accurate resolution for the client - Identify cross-selling opportunities and refer them to bankers and product partners to advise or facilitate for the client - Verify and maintain data quality regarding internal and external client hierarchies and account reconciliation - Participate in special projects assigned by the team manager - Coordinate and process client inquiries regarding products and servicesRequirements
- Fluent in English and French - Strong relationship management skills - Strong communication and time management skills - Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and technology, and to utilize all available tools and resources to serve clients as efficiently as possible - Solid knowledge of deposits, banking, brokerage, custody, investment management, mutual funds, and credit products as they apply to the respective business lines in the region - Understanding of and compliance with the regulations, guidelines, and procedures applicable to these products and services, and an understanding of the potential financial liabilities associated with transactions involving these products and services if they are not executed properly - Effective communication, judgment, problem-solving, and client relationship skills - Business administration degree or equivalent financial qualifications - Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services and/or banking industryPreferential requirements
