Cloud Infrastructure Architect
The Cloud Infrastructure Architect designs and implements scalable and secure cloud infrastructures, in particular for hybrid cloud scenarios in the financial market, and supports the migration of core banking solutions to the Azure Cloud. The focus is on designing future-proof, secure and regulatory-compliant solutions.
Job description: Cloud Infrastructure Architect (a)
Tasks
- You design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructures, with a particular focus on network architecture and hybrid cloud scenarios that meet the requirements of the regulated financial market
- You analyze existing infrastructures and develop modern time frames for their transformation into the Azure Cloud
- You work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- You ensure that all solutions meet the required regulatory requirements and safety standards
- You support the selection and implementation of new technologies and platforms, with a focus on infrastructure and network services, to ensure the long-term scalability and flexibility of our cloud solutions
Requirements
- You have sound methodological and technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, especially in the design and automated setup of cloud infrastructures and networks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally with Terraform
- You have at least 5 years in a technical leadership role in a comparable environment as an architect, preferably in the regular financial market
- You have excellent analytical skills and a high level of problem-solving competence. You also have the relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert or comparable
