Cloud Lead Architect

As Cloud Lead Architect you are responsible for the development and implementation of the cloud architecture strategy and take the technical lead on cloud topics. You will play a key role in the transformation of infrastructure and operations to the Azure Cloud.

Tasks

  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing our cloud architecture strategy in line with the company's objectives.
  • You will take the technical lead on cloud topics and work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and develop customized cloud solutions.
  • You will be responsible for the cloud architecture and implementation of cloud-based solutions as well as ensuring compliance with best practices and security standards.
  • You are jointly responsible for the transformation of our infrastructure and operations into the Azure Cloud - both technically and organizationally.
  • You continuously analyze the market and new technologies in order to identify and implement new cloud trends.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in computer science / business informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • You are not only a doer, but also a leader. You manage to motivate your team, explain complex issues simply, listen and develop viable solutions together. At the same time, you have a strong business and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • You have several years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on platform operations as well as experience in the implementation of large cloud migration projects, ideally as a lead or senior architect.
  • You have (or have in-depth) knowledge of the Azure cloud platform, as well as cloud security standards and best practices in a regulated environment, ideally in the financial sector.
