Cloud Platform Engineer - 100% (f/m/d)
As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Julius Baer in Zurich, you will be responsible for developing and deploying a cloud platform to support the infrastructure and resource needs of the product teams. You should have experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and Kubernetes to successfully fulfill this role.
Tasks
- Expanding our cloud platform offering by operationalizing new services and delivering them to end users through fully automated, GitOps-driven workflows
- Working closely with development teams to provide support and mentoring throughout their cloud adoption journey
Your profiles
- Extensive practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including familiarity with the Operator pattern; experience with Crossplane is a plus
- Solid software development fundamentals; prior experience with Go (Golang) is a valuable asset
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure services, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset – You are proactive, innovative, and willing to share your ideas.
- Demonstrable achievements in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Cloud certification (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent) is considered a strong plus.
