Julius Baer is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to help design and deliver a cloud platform that supports product teams in self-servicing infrastructure and resource requirements. The focus is on developing scalable platforms and expanding public cloud capabilities.
Job description
Cloud Platform Engineer - 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Improve our cloud platform offering by operationalizing new services and delivering them to end users through fully automated, GitOps-driven workflows
- Working closely with development teams, providing support and mentorship during their cloud adoption process
Requirements
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps practices
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including familiarity with the Operator pattern; experience with Crossplane is a plus
- Solid software engineering background; experience with Go (Golang) is a valuable asset
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, preferably in enterprise-scale cloud environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset—proactive, innovative, and willing to share ideas
- Proven experience in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Cloud certification (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.
