COLLATERAL MANAGER
Leonteq is seeking a Collateral Manager (100%) in Zurich to manage collateral activities within the Global Treasury Team and maintain relationships with external partners. The position requires experience in collateral management, knowledge of derivatives, and the ability to optimize processes and monitor operational risks.

Tasks
- Management of cash and non-cash collateral activities within the Global Treasury Team in Zurich.
- Managing relationships with external collateral counterparties and service providers; working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all daily collateral processes are carried out accurately and in accordance with requirements.
- Monitoring collateral positions and identifying potential operational, liquidity, and counterparty risks; escalating issues as needed.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the collateral management infrastructure, including new processes, automation, and workflow improvements.
- Identifying opportunities for optimization to improve processes, controls, and efficiency within the team and the department.
- Serves as a central point of contact between customers, internal business partners, and operations, providing prompt investigation and resolution of complex operational issues.
- Supporting and sharing knowledge with other team members, contributing to a collaborative environment that fosters both individual growth and high-performing teams.
- Participation in projects and initiatives related to collateral management, securities finance, and the collateral management function, as well as providing support in the implementation of agreed-upon solutions.
Requirements
- A degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in collateral management and with relevant applications (e.g., TriOptima, TriResolve, Accula).
- A solid understanding of securities financing agreements and processes.
- Experience in cash and non-cash collateral management, reconciliation, settlement, margining, or related processes.
- Knowledge of derivatives and structured products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate and solve operational problems.
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong technical understanding; additional programming skills are a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
- A pragmatic and proactive approach, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- A flexible, motivated, and collaborative team player with a strong sense of personal responsibility.
