Collection Specialist

Tasks

• They handle the entire debt collection process from start to finish—from identifying customers who are overdue for a reminder, to taking appropriate action, to initiating debt enforcement proceedings
• You engage in discussions with customers and partners, seek fair solutions, and find sustainable payment arrangements (approval of payment methods, debt restructuring, payment deferrals, etc.)
• You will work with our colleagues in Sales, Risk, and Accounting to fill the open positions for our specialists. We offer solutions and legal representation to our in-house specialists and external partners.
• You keep track of receivables, analyze key performance indicators, and help us achieve our financial goals
• You actively contribute to projects aimed at further developing and digitizing our processes

Requirements

• completed
• has a strong knowledge of debt collection law (SchKG) and at least 5 years of experience in debt collection
• has, at best, some knowledge of the leasing sector and is very good with numbers
• communicates and negotiates fluently in German, English, and/or French. Italian is a plus
• is highly proficient in using Excel
• has strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and tact when dealing with debtors
• works independently and in an organized manner, and their work is characterized by precision
