Collection Specialist
Arval Switzerland is looking for a Collections Specialist (80–100%) for its Finance Team in Rotkreuz to handle debt collection and communication with customers who are behind on payments. This is a permanent position offering an annual salary of CHF 62,000.
Tasks
You will handle the entire debt collection process from start to finish—from identifying cases requiring follow-up early on, notifying delinquent customers of the measures being taken, through to debt enforcement—conducting discussions with customers and partners, seeking fair solutions, and finding sustainable ways to secure payment. Your responsibilities include:- Comprehensive debt collection services, from the early identification of cases requiring a reminder
- Notifying customers who are delinquent in their payments, from taking appropriate measures to initiating debt enforcement proceedings
- Discussions with customers and partners to find fair solutions and establish sustainable payment methods
- Collaborate with colleagues from Sales, Risk, and Accounting Services to process applications and maintain an overview
- Overview of receivables, analysis of key performance indicators, and contribution to achieving our financial goals
- Active participation in projects to further develop and digitize our processes
Requirements
You have:- Strong knowledge of debt collection law (SchKG) and at least 5 years of experience in debt collection
- Knowledge of the leasing industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German, English, and/or French; Italian is a plus
- Proficiency in Excel
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and tact when dealing with debtors
- An independent, organized, and meticulous approach to work
