Compliance AML Monitoring Officer

Your role

As a Compliance AML Monitoring Officer at our bank, you will be a self-motivated, rigorous team player looking for a dynamic and international working environment, performing high quality transaction analysis, monitoring and reporting for the bank's compliance department.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor higher-risk transactions to ensure compliance with embargoes, money laundering and terrorist financing regulations and conduct the clarification process with the first line of defense as needed
• Analyze incidents generated by filtering and screening solutions and take action based on the analysis results
• Monitor AML-related transactions (pre- and post-trade KYT alerts)
• Conduct investigations and provide necessary communications to the relevant authorities and respond to their requests
• Create ad hoc AML reports
• Monitor personal account dealing and other conflicts of interest
• Participate in ad-hoc projects related to team activities and actively contribute to process efficiency

Your profile

• Higher education (university / university of applied sciences) in law or economics or equivalent education / further training (e.g. DAS/CAS in Compliance Management)
• Several years of experience in AML monitoring and sanctions in the Swiss banking industry, preferably in private banking
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity, high level of accountability and hands-on mentality
• Ability to work independently, proactively and under pressure
• Fluent in French and English, other languages are a plus
