Job description
The position as Compliance Associate includes the following tasks:- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance testing and monitoring
- Creation and maintenance of databases and checklists for the workflow of the legal and compliance team
- Assistance with preparing regulatory submissions and various email review processes
- Support in executing and tracking documents and contracts with counterparties (e.g., ISDA, prime brokerage)
- Opening of new fund and counterparty accounts
- Document management and recording
- Ad hoc projects in coordination with product teams across the company
- Operational and administrative tasks
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Degree in finance or economics (B.S.) preferred but not required; strong academic qualifications
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment in confidential situations
- Reliable, flexible, cooperative, and proactive team player
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for the job
