Compliance Officer
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Compliance Officer to oversee compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and strengthen the compliance function within the bank. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a compliance officer at a bank, as well as a very good understanding of banking regulations.

- Monitoring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements - Handling and monitoring high-risk business relationships and transactions, as well as coordinating their management and review - Reviewing the establishment of business relationships - Handling correspondence related to sanctions, embargoes, and politically exposed persons (PEPs) - Managing correspondent banks: KYC - Monitoring obligations under AIA/QI/FATCA and verifying reports - Training, advising, and supporting employees in the areas of anti-money laundering and other compliance topics - Managing the secretariat of the Compliance Committee - Monitoring regulatory developments and assisting with their implementation - Contributing to the strengthening and further development of the compliance function within the bankWhat do you bring with you?
- Extensive experience as a compliance officer at a bank, in risk management, or in internal audit, as well as very good knowledge of banking regulations, particularly the Anti-Money Laundering Act (GwG) (including the GwV-FINMA and VSB) - A strong interest in law, particularly banking law and its ongoing development - Very good knowledge of French and German (min. C1) - Polished written communication skills - College degree in economics, white-collar crime, law, compliance, or a related fieldWe offer you
