Compliance Officer - Intermediaries (Full-Time)
The Compliance Officer – Intermediaries is responsible for monitoring and implementing compliance policies and procedures in the Intermediaries and Finders division and supports the team with various tasks. The position requires 3–5 years of experience in intermediaries compliance and risk management, as well as knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment.
Tasks
- Review local policies and procedures as required
- Identification and investigation of serious cases of non-compliance
- Collaboration with key stakeholders within and outside the compliance department
- Influencing a culture of compliance among employees to minimize legal, regulatory, and reputational risks
- Support for compliance projects and follow-up on internal and regulatory audits
- Provision of training and training materials on intermediaries and finders, compliance, and AML issues
- Supporting the team with tasks related to intermediaries and finders, including establishing guidelines and defining methodologies
Your profiles
- Academic degree (preferably in law, economics, business administration, or a banking-related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in intermediaries (asset managers, family offices), compliance and risk management, or audit and compliance roles
- Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory landscape, particularly AML regulations and client documentation standards
- Good knowledge of MS Office and an affinity for IT
- Strong personality with good organizational, operational, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, with excellent analytical, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write accurate evaluations with a strong sense of integrity and discretion
- Independent, efficient, and meticulous approach to work, with solution-oriented thinking
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
